Victor Gigga completed a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Corporate Law at the University of Mannheim in 2013 and successfully passed the first state examination in 2016 at the same institution. He completed his legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal from 2017 to 2019. In early 2020, he started working as a lawyer at a major commercial law firm in Mannheim, Germany. On 1 November 2025, he joined our law firm.
Mr. Gigga advises on all matters of commercial and corporate law out-of-court and court. He specialises in advising and representing managing directors and board members facing personal claims from the insolvency administrator following their company’s insolvency. Allegations of a delayed insolvency filing and resulting compensation claims arising from payments made by the company after it became insolvent are often at the heart of these cases. Mr Gigga represents his clients in defending against these claims, both in and out of court, incorporating existing D&O insurance into the strategy at an early stage. His goal is to minimise the personal burden on the affected corporate officers as much as possible, and to reach a financially sound solution without protracted litigation where feasible. Prior to joining Biesinger Diener, Mr Gigga spent several years practising commercial law at a major law firm in Mannheim. There, he worked on complex corporate and insolvency law matters with significant economic implications. He now advises managing directors and board members throughout Germany.
