Dr. Karl Benedikt Biesinger studied law at the Eberhard-Karls-Universitiy of Tübingen and the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and worked as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law in Freiburg from 1986 to 1987 and in the same position at the Chair of Civil and Commercial Law with Professor Harm Peter Westermann at the Eberhard-Karls-University of Tübingen from 1989 to 1992. In 1992 he received a scholarship from the Foundation for German Science “Arbeitskreis Recht und Wirtschaft”. After his admission to the bar, he worked as a lawyer from 1993 and also as a partner in a business consulting firm from 1999. In 1997 he received his doctorate in law under Professor Harm Peter Westermann.
